We've stayed on the Hudson river nearby for a full week hitting different cafe's each day and only this and one other were worth going to. The doughnuts and latte's are seriously good, and the view is the best we've seen! Thanks!
The Good Witch is perfect for so many things - a great latte, the perfect breakfast (the scone with jam and butter lives rent free in my mind always), meeting up with friends and reliable bathrooms (very nice!). This has been my go to since it opened where I can count on high quality food, coffee, and more importantly - community. Whether it’s grabbing a drink on my way into the city or enjoying a community event in the evening - good witch is the place to be ;).
I don't normally write reviews, but this is hands down my favorite small business in Hastings! Delicious beverages and baked goods (love the almond muffins), wonderful baristas, beautiful interior space and views of the Hudson. I go several times a week on my way to the train, often work in the inspiring space and take my family there on Saturdays. Also love the range of events they host in their space and outside. Hastings wouldn't be Hastings without the Good Witch! Grateful places like this still exist in our community
Obsessed! I was skeptical at first about trying a coffee shop in a train station, normally those aren’t good. But this was an amazing experience. Not only are the staff extremely friendly, but this has to have been the best hojicha latte I’ve ever had. We got there at around 12 and the pastry selection was pretty much done which was disappointing, but we still managed to get a cookie and a bagel with cream cheese. Both were delicious. We didn’t know it was pumpernickel bagel which I hateeeee but we could hardly taste the pumpernickel here. Highly recommend! I thought being near the train it would be noisy but it wasn’t! Can’t wait to go back!
Inside the MTA train station, the coffee shop is a hidden gem in Hastings. Elegant, cozy and delightful. The coffee is made with care and love. The pastries are homemade and delicious. Great atmosphere to relax, read a book before boarding on the train.
The Good Witch is one of my favorite coffee shops! Each time my husband and I visit, we grab a delicious treat to go with the perfect cappuccino. Joanna has a built a true community space, with beautifully planned events for all ages. Can’t wait to check out the next jazz jam!
